I like what they do in Romania, and proably a lot of other parts of the world, too - they have a "Women's Day," instead of just a mother's day. Being a mom deserves all the respect in the world - it's slaggin' hard! But being a woman deserves a ton of respect, too. So you go, Girls!

Today I gave my mom a card, roses, scented candles (she really likes these), and took her out to brunch. All in all, a very pleasant day (though slightly too windy for my taste).

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms, aunts, grandmas, etc. out there. We had a small celebration up my grandma's (tomorrow's my pap's b-day so we kind of mixed everything together like we always do). I told mom I'd take her to see the Indiana Jones movie when we both have the time. She loves Indiana Jones.

Sadly, I couldn't be at home for Mother's Day (was needed to babysit roomie's cat). But I did order my mom an aromatherapy mask (sleeping problems because of hectic work schedule), and I sent her an e-card for earlier today. She'll get the presents later...but I think she'll love them XD
