So it's a bit of a smaller update today, but I wanted to try and get myself back on track. And it begins what people have been asking and that is... what DID happen to the Decepticons? And yes... I have been trying out some new inking styles, mainly darker lines/more shadows as I often run out of time for proper shading.

Also the Megatron in the bottom panel comes right out of Escalation #6, I really like a lot of E.J Su's work it inspires me for a lot of the fight scenes.

So Megs was half-protected from the emp because he was almot in the room. Nice.

Oi poor Megatron, I almost feel sorry for him.

Ooh, Blue gets all stern with Megs, nice. Although, do we think he could take him even in his weakened condition? I'm not so sure. It's good of Blue to 'bot up. But a functioning-at-all Megs is still pretty darn dangerous. I can see why he'd say Devcon will be disappointed in him. But was it compassion or weakness? (I know a Decepticon would say they're the same thing, but there is a distinction.) Megs is just not going to honor any deal you strike with him.

And I like the evolution of your style, Ratchet. Everyone looks very keen.

I did not see that coming at all! Bluestreak, willingly working with Megatron to get everyone repaired....But I KNEW something was up when Megatron already had his foot in the safe room when the EMP went off! I KNEW it!

Again, I'm loving the bolder shadows and outlines, it gives the more dramatic points in the comic a powerful boost. Looking forward to more!

Poor Megatron, he was defeated again. But I think he will have a big role now, after sitting in gun mode for cca a year.

This storyline keeps getting more interesting. Hadn't occured to me that Megatron would only be only partly damaged by the EMP...I guess this means the other Decepticons (since they were near the protected room) could still be functioning after all.
Looking forward to seeing what happens next! ^_^
