Episode 7-10-2011 Metal Attraction

This one has a fun MacGuffin and a Firefly reunion, as well as the best throwaway line ever to explain the absence of a character. (I am now totally shipping June Darby and OP! I am anticipating an epic slap fight between her and Agent Fowler over him.)

In particular, I am loving the recurring characters here. I'm still trying to figure out Breakdown's motivations re: Megatron. I think I'm being tainted a bit by Jayne, though, I'm happy to believe Breakdown is a loyal 'con and genuinely wants to impress the boss, but I won't be surprised if he jumps ship for his own reasons. Also why no replacement eye, Decepticons? Is Knockout a fail medic or must one EARN repairs under tres ebil Megatron?

Anyway, fun ep. lots of kewl fighting and it's neat to see Autobot teamwork in action.

This episode was full of humor. Especially the ending, it made me crack up. I laughed the hardest during the moment June mentioned Optimus. The look on Jack's face...hahahaa.

I'd have freaked a bit too, it I were in his shoes. I can't wait to see how the two interact together. They need to hurry up and give us an episode with them BOTH in it!

This series is making me fall in love with Transformers all over again. And I like how dark it is compared to all the other series I've watched. Can't wait for next Saturday!

Lol, you and me both. I found that little scenario to be completely adorable. :p Canon shipping references amuse me since that seems to be such a heated topic in the fandom. To see it tossed around so loosely and with such hilarious abandon makes me quite giddy.

Holy crap, how can you even kid about that? If KO can fix/fabricate(?) Screamer an arm I imagine he's capable to some extent, no? I mean, he wouldn't be appointed as ANY kind of medic if he wasn't useful. 'Sides, I highly doubt he'd let his own assistant go around looking like that -- it'd make him look bad and seriously clash with his dashing good looks. ...YEah...

Really, though... Maybe breakdown decided to keep his scars as a reminder (or, heck, maybe Cybertronian's are more delicate internally then we believe. An Optic would certainly be a more sensitive component maybe it's not so easily replaced.)

Sling, my apologies to Knock Out. I really wasn't questioning his skills, but rather Megs's attitude. He's like the guys I know who call Purple Hearts "enemy marksmanship medals". A little too hardcore for my taste (and hypocritical, too).

I'm more than willing to believe that KO's got the skill to install a new optic, but just might not have the part or be allowed to apply it.

And I do think Breakdown's patch makes him look quite bad-aft.
