Here are all of the factions as of the time of the Great Cybertronian Purge.
The Decepticons
- Lead by Megatron, the Decepticons sought to conquer the galaxy using the Cybertronian Empire as a staging ground. Their symbol is the standard Decepticon symbol.
The Autobots
- Lead by Sentinel Prime, The Autobots seek to restore the Cybertronian Empire to its former democratic state, seeing the war as a necessary evil to prevent the bloodshed (energonshed?) of the Decepticons and other factions. Their symbol is the standard Autobot symbol.
The Brigade
- Lead by Starscream, The Brigade seeks to unify the Empire as a whole, and lead it into more of a single power run military-state. Their symbol is a redcybertronian tri-jet over a blue chevron background.
The Wreckers
- Lead by Impactor, the Wreckers actually began as part of the Cybertronian military, and are seeking an end to the conflict... through any means necessary up to and including obliterating other warring factions in order to cow others into peace. Their symbol is golden harpoon over a purple inverted triangle.
The Cybertronian Council
- Lead by Alpha Trion, the Council seeks to re-establish the democratic state while at the same time setting up a single leader to rule in a constitutional monarchy-like manner. Their symbol is a set of cyan crystals over a gold ring.
The Coalition for Security
- Lead by Ultra Magnus, and mostly made up of former Cybertronian security personal (aka Police), the Coalition seeks to re-establish peace or at the very least negate the collateral damage of the war. Their symbol is a golden image of cybertron.
The Free Colonies
- Lead by Mirage, the Free Colonies are an allied series of Cybertronian Colonies that seek to remain outside the war and attain their own independence. Their symbol is a set of 5 purple spots arranged in a ring linked by 5 golden lines.
The New Empire
- Lead by Thunderwing, The New Empire seeks to also cut all ties with the former Cybertronian Empire, but seeks to gain as much territory as possible in the process. Their symbol is a green horned helmet.
The Technocracy
- Lead by Jhiaxus, the Technocracy seeks to assert themselves as the leaders of the entire Cybertronian Empire in order to continue to develop Cybertronian physiology in order to better conquer the galaxy. Their symbol is a simple golden circuit on a green field.
