Why must everything always fall apart at the last minute!? I've been working all weekend on my final piece for my art studio class, I come in this morning to print it off and set everything up so that I can get on a bus then a train to liverpool with my girlfriend.... The frakking printer was jammed! Now I'm running all over campus to find a frakking color printer so that I can frakking print this out, so that I can frakking go to Liverpool, and frakking be done with school this year. Frak! Frak!! FRAK!!!!!

Been there, done that... believe me when I say, I know how you feel. It seriously is the biggest of suckiest things that could happen, and it happened with one of my final projects for my design class.

I got it all done, printed, set up, and it was only slightly after deadline. My girlfriend and I managed to make it to Liverpool (albeit several hours later than intended so we didn't get to go into the Beatles showcase thingy) and we had a good time. It still keeps hitting me from time to time now that I'm done with this year (barring a possible review session held during the 23rd or 24th for this class) and I'll be returning home once more next Friday.

And for your information Chromia, I was posting while I was waiting for the 2 gigs of my project to move from my portable hard drive to the computer I'd found in some lab at the ass end of campus with a color print. Fortunately, I was clearheaded enough to remember to say frak instead of some other choice words I could mention. I have to think of the children after all.

And yes.. we have all been there. I remember many a mornings gluing things on to cardstock minutes before the class where they had to be handed in/critiqued. Actually once I was trying to post a comic and my entire internet crashed moments before I could do it. (Not the same urgency but the same annoyance and inconvenience)
