Hmmm. How in the name of Primus do you link up these new-fangled picture thingummies? *scratches head* Meh, smelt it. No pictures yet, perchance some later.

First, host the picture somewhere, like Photobucket. Then, get the link to the image. After that, when posting, hit the little thing that looks like a picture of a mountain above the text box. It's right next to the thing that looks like a word balloon. It will ask you for the link. Paste the link into the given box, and BOOM, picy is shown. Either that, or just put {IMG}lalala{/IMG} with [ and ] replacing the {}s and the link in place of the "la"s

btw, Darth, think you can shrink ol' Wolfwood down for me too?

Name: The Doctor
Continuity: Doctor Who (second regeneration of the character)
Hobbies: Playing the recorder, attempting to steer his TARDIS, travelling through time and space, sending invading alien space fleets to their doom.

Personality: Scruffy and with a sense of humour, he often plays the part of the fool, hiding an extremely intelligent mind. He also likes to listen and lend advice rather than directing people up front.

History: The Doctor is a Time Lord from a far away planet known as Gallifrey. This is his second regeneration, his first having 'died' from old age. He wandered through space and time with various human companions, helping people and solving problems until his own people, the Time Lords caught him, forcing him to answer for his crimes of becoming involved and interfering in the affairs of other life in the universe. The minds of his companions were wiped of their memories, and the Time Lord forced the Doctor to regenerate again. The newly regenerated form was sent to Earth in exile, and the old regenerated form was discarded.

So the Docbot plays the Doctor, eh? This should be good. ;D *rubs hands enthusiastically*

Name: Axel
Universe: Kingdom Hearts (alternate reality crossover mishmash... huzzah!)

Personality: For somebody who doesn't technically exist, and doesn't have a heart, Axel can fake it pretty well. Outwardly, he tends to not take things seriously, joking and generally being unconcerned by it all. Its easy to suspect, however, that inwardly he's quite canny and intelligent, even manipulative at times. Surprisingly loyal when he cares to be, though not necessarily to the same cause from beginning to end---he went from supporting his old cronies, the Organization XIII, to standing with their enemy, the weilder of the Keyblade, for the sake of his old (and only) friend Roxas.

Events leading up to his demise: Having gone rogue to carry out a plan to bring his friend, Roxas, back into existance and instead generally making a mess of things, Axel stopped trying to hinder Sora (kid, pointy hair, big heart, Keyblade) and instead joined forces with him just long enough to fight off a horde of lesser Nobodies. Unfortunately, in defeating them, Axel used up too much of, well, his self and then used the last of it to open a portal for Sora, so the damsel could be rescued and the world could be saved. Yada yada. Afterwards, he simply faded away.

He wasn't exactly expecting to fade away to somewhere...
Wow. You know, you're definitely on to something there. Mishmash crossovers are superbly fertile places for RPG character fodder. >w<

Do you think the Force works on this plane?

That's something that needs to be considered on a case by case basis. For a short answer, it depends on the person attemtping to use it.

In most cases, people should retain their existing powers.

Megatron

Can we make up structures or objects in the world? Or do you want exclusive control over that?

You certainly can, but they might not be considered "important" enough to make the list. There is a small blurb I wrote about this in the locations thread:

"In this world almost everything is mutable, but important things will remain consistent. In some cases, locations may appear only for such a time as the person occupying them is there, if the location is a strong manifestation of said person's psyche."

My goal is to give a great deal of RP freedom while not interfering too much with the fundamental plot I have in mind. So before doing anything "big" please check in with me. :)

Coraxonyx

That's a funny song, Hound. I, personally, think of this (http://www.dndadventure.com/html/articles/gaming_stories.html) (first story), which was imortalized in comic form in Knights of the Dinner Table. Gaming in-jokes FTW!

Slagpit
10-30-2008, 07:56 PM
I thought of much the same story, although mine was more directed to the Gazebo card from Munchkin which was inspired by that story.

Is it sad that when I was at work today, I thought of the perfect introduction for James Tobias Kirk into this game, but decided against playing him since I'm already playing three people right now? Maybe after I get rid of one of them... probably Rimmer, since I have no real clue what he'd actually provide to this game...

Megatron
10-31-2008, 04:03 AM
Sometimes characters with nothing but gumption provide the most entertainment. :)

Illidan is super powerful but he's getting nowhere fast with everyone, because he's also super douchey. You never know what might happen, hehe.

Also, the gazebo location was partially inspired by the aforementioned story. X)

Only really affects Hound's character Doyle, but I'm not really sure how to gracefully withdraw Nuala from the story. Right! Or would it be "deading on" here? XD Scott McNeil is my official favorite voice actor ever, mostly because he did Dinobot, Rattrap, Silverbolt, and Waspinator in BW. I swear, it's gotten so bad that I can usually pick him out in a random cartoon (didja know he's Mr. White, the African American secret agent dude from "Johnny Test"?). :D

Yeah, that's the bad thing about selective surviving in TV shows. With any luck, though, someone with a similar constitution to Rattrap will show up and I can start Dinobot snarking again.
