I am SO excited about this book. The first one was amazing. I'm hoping we'll get some more "what if?" kind of answers about the show.

WHAT! I had no idea there was gonna be a volume 2!!? I guess it will be focused on the toy designs?? I've got vol. 1 and I love it! It certainly helps me using for reference whenever I want to draw the characters from a particular angle it's so useful.. ^^ so everyone who doesn't have it yet. DO IT NOW!!

I was expecting it, since the first one even said that there would be other volumes. There are reports that this volume will primarily focus on the events of season three and a hypothetical season four, as well as the Cyber Ninjas.

I still need to get these. It's driving me nuts and bolts that I don't have them.

So guess what I got in the mail today? Yeah, Allspark Almanac Volume II. Unfortunately, they ran out of the first volume (which I ordered along with this volume). But at least I got this one.

Oh, lucky you!
We -on the hungarian forum- are just planning to order a few of them.
I need it so much! Vol.I. is awesome as it is and it's also an indispensable basis for my SoG comics too

IT CAME! And I devoured it. It's glorious and sad (with so many "what if's"--srsly, Mirrorverse trips, time travel, a Cosmos episode, Kaon on Earth, all great stuff that'll never be animated *sigh*)

This book is a slice of Nerdvana. It continues the in-universe style of the first one and has an entry for just about every 'bot that appears in all the various crowd scenes and flashbacks. (Fun fact: Kup Minor named Optimus, Sentinel and Elita. OP was cheerful, SP paranoid and E1..."kinda stuck up" *sporfle*). The pages of endless BB repaints get a bit tiresome, but you have to admire the fanservice. Also, Tracks has a VanDyke beard. It's HY-larious.

The episode guides are there as well, as mission reports, logs and etc. The best, in my opinion, is "This is Why I Hate Machines" which appears as a multiversal newspaper with a Horoscope and crossword (I'm hoping to see a larger version of the puzzle somewhere so I can fill it out.)

In the Culture section we get tons of Cybertron-centric stuff. The entire chronology of the Great War appears as a playable board game and there's a solar system map for Cybertron (it has a sun, btw and a gas giant named THULSA DOOM *dies*) and a star chart compliments of Swindle that I spent about an hour looking at. This one item alone could spawn a thousand crossover fanfics (I'm serious! It had Melmac, and Ork and Thunderra and PERN!). Also, Sentinel can't navigate for beans. And the days of the week are named for the G1 writers.

As in the first book, there are tons of codes and in-jokes here. The decidcated fan/geek could spend hours just with this book and the wiki learning incredibly obscure stuff and decoding things from the margins.

The only downside to the book is that it is SO awesome that it makes me want more Animated, and there's none to be had, so I will have to sleep with it under my pillow and play with my toys and try to stay strong. And you all do the same.
