G3 New boards roleplay reboot

So it's been a while since I've posted a lot on here... and yeah. I rather miss it. I was kind of thinking that perhaps some sort of reboot is in order. And given the nature of the transformers mythos, multiversal as it is. I was pondering the idea of a universe parallel to what we've done before, the crazy mashup of all the different series that was our playground. If we called those original adventures the G1 universe (since it started out being mainly G1 and then later more joined in from other franchises) and perhaps CiD iscribble and skype (should they happen again) stuff the G2 universe, then I think it wouldn't be remiss that this new reboot would be the "G3 universe."

Basically, it would be a fresh start for RP here, and allow some folks to keep their characters as they were if they liked, both canon and non-canon alike, while at the same time allowing others to maybe make some changes if they wanted to. Maybe instead of going left, your character has gone right at a crucial juncture in their past in this universe and they've switched factions. Maybe they're older, maybe they're younger. Maybe they're even dead, and you're playing a new character altogether. Maybe, like G1 Cliffjumper, they've found their way into this brand new universe where everything is totally different and or wrong from what they know, and they're just trying to survive so that they can get back.

Was just a thought I had, and this is a bit of a fishing post to determine how people would feel about such a reboot on here. If I start this up, I'll post a brief description of the major differences between G3 and G1, and then all I'd say is to make sure to include G3 before every title for threads set in that universe. This might also allow for the possibility of further universes down the line (G4, G5, G6, etc).

Honest, I would love to RP TFs again. And revive my abysmally absent presence here. But I find it so hard to keep up with forums anymore. :I I'm worried I'll post once or twice, then forget for, like, weeks. And that'll be awkward and mean and I'll let people down. I dislike doing that.
