Default Back!

I got some days off and went to my parents birthplace, Pescina.
It's a small city in Italy in the Abruzzo region.

These are some ruins I can see from my parents home. They were part of the old city until an earthquake ruined them. You can also see the ancient guard tower that incredibly resisted the 'quake.

another view of the tower.

a street going up to a church.

The holidays have been good. Little or no city chaos. Fresh air.
^_^

The guard tower survived the earthquake? Guess I'll have to try harder next time with my pile drivers.

The pictures look really nice. Glad you had a good time.

Damn yes. I needed some calm place to rest before going back to work. Sketched something and walked up to the mountain top.

that guard tower dates back to the dark ages. It takes more than piledrivers to take it down XD actually nearly all the old city was destroyed but that damn tower stood still. Does it means once we used to make more solid buildings?

Not really. I actually live in Roma, Italy capital city. I was low on money so I decided to get cheap and going at my parents' home for some days off. They were happy to see me back for four days. I was also a little worried about them so I think I did the best thing for all. ^^
