Comics in Disguise

That's TWO Autobots I'm going to shoot so far, I'm doing great today.

August 30th, 2007

Ahhh another early(er) update today. I'll be doing some minor editing to Monday's comic too, as per some helpful advice from some friends, so check back on it if you're curious.

I'm glad people are finally using the forum after I fixed that stupid bug. I have a lot of fun reading and responding to comments!

I have a couple new links up too in the links section - check them out!

Even though in the long run, it matters little that 'summer is almost over', since anyone with a full time job pretty much works all summer anyway, but still... it's getting darker outside and colder. Winter is approaching... But I guess that's just the way things go right?

This comic was originally the tail end of Thursday's... but as you can see, it would have made Thursday's comic MUCH too long, and I think it can stand on its own just fine.

...Also it gave me a chance to be a little lazier this weekend, enjoy!

August 23rd, 2007

I loved this screenshot so much I had to leave it up for another news post. For anyone that needs it in context that's Mirage. Well... his invisible self anyway.
Do you want to know how long I sat at my computer making transformer noises trying to sound it out phonetically? On the transfans message board, we had a bit of a debate about it a couple months ago. It was definitely the inspiration I needed. Now.. why put in a sound effect now when I've never used any before? Well... it'll be important for Monday's comic. Also that single noise sequence is the most universal Transformer's reference out there. I'm going to do it at work tomorrow and see what everyone says. I bet they'll say, "Wow, there's a Transformer fan, the coolest people on the planet." And I'll say, "Damn straight!"

Enjoy the comic!

August 20th, 2007

Well the comic is updated at an actual decent time for a change. Not too shabby at all, I might say! And no emergency 11:15pm "I need this before the end of the day" messages to Megatron.

Hmm... not much in the way of news though, same old, same old. The forums have been quite fun actually, thank you to everyone who is signing up and posting!

You can reach the forums here.

This comic wouldn't never been updated 'tonight' (aka. early Thursday morning) if not for Megatron, who bravely coloured the first two panels (minus the background) when I asked for help. Really, I never wouldn't done it without him.
And I'll never forget what he said to me.

"You want it WHEN!?"

Seriously, I need that for work. The forum is up and running correctly... I'll be making a post about today's comic there to see what you guys think, so let me know! I need feedback to make sure people are enjoying what's out there. Thanks in advance! Ratchet out.

August 13th, 2007

Monday the 13th... OOooOoohhh..
Hmmm... for some reason it just doesn't have the same stigma that Friday the 13ths do.

I decided to go back to my old format, at least for a bit. See what you guys think. And by 'old format' I just mean the larger comics. We're on the internet anyway, it's not like it has to be in perfect 8x11 page format. Sometimes they may be larger, and sometimes smaller, I like the flexibility.

Megatron brought to my attention that some people are having problems posting on the forums. I hate to admit being a forum noob, but I think I fixed it. Give it a shot!

August 10th, 2007

Thank you to everyone for your continual interest in my comic. And also thanks to those of you that pointed out my links on the main page weren't going backwards or pointing to the right comic. The reason? ...I forgot to upload the new pages... I rule... lol
Also I was just told that Bluestreak's music notes are backwards. For some reason I do that a lot, and I've even taken music theory when I was younger and wrote out tons of notes. But I aint changing it, so you're all going to have to live with it!
.................
I fixed the site though... enjoy!

August 9th, 2007

Well, here you go. Since I missed my update Monday, here's not one, not two.. but three pages worth of comics for your reading enjoyment!
I had always wanted to do this scene, I would think Bluestreak would traumatize easily. And speaking of Bluestreak, currently I'm working on a special project of a solo comic, independant of any current storylines and a 'comic' in its own. I haven't decided how I want to post it yet... if I want to do it page by page for however many days, or post it all as one big thing once I'm done. We shall see! It will be a while still, it's still at the writing stage. And it won't interrupt any normal updates, it's just something I'm doing on the side. I was curious about doing a more 'serious' comic that fell into true comic format. Until Monday robot fans!

August 7th, 2007

Whoa... the days are just going by TOO quickly.
But, I'm back from my trip! And exhausted, because airports suck. I know all the extra security is completely necessary, and I like feeling safe while boarding a plane but seriously, airports suck. Our plane was delayed an hour on the ground in Toronto yesterday because our pilots were coming from a flight that got in from New York and THAT had been delayed an hour. Not to mention there are no direct flights practically anywhere anymore so I had to transfer and sit in the Toronto airport for 3 hours in between flights. But, I'm back now, safe and sound. The comic will resume Thursday, which reminds me today I better start drawing it eh? For now, I'm off to work.

August 3rd, 2007

Another update! Just underneath yesterday's comic so nobody misses out. I'm taking Monday off, so consider today's comic Monday's comic, and I shall return next week guaranteed to both dazzle and entertain you. (not a guarantee)
This weekend is a long weekend for us, I hope you guys have a nice weekend too and to anyone sharing my holiday have a nice long weekend!

August 2nd, 2007

Wow, where did July go? One month of summer, gone... gone I say!
We now return you to the current storyline, already in progress. This storyline started in July, you can jump to the beginning here.

I also want to say hello to everyone joining us from the wonderful site of Transformers Peru! Hola! Thanks for stopping by!
