Thundercracker and Starscream
This should enable me to trick children into giving me their candy.

Happy Halloween! (If you live in a country that 'celebrates' this sort of odd holiday, happy trick or treating!) If you don't, well happy halloween anyway.
The forums are as busy as ever, so come and check them out!

By the way, this may be cheating of sorts but today's update counts as Thursday's update too. I need some time to get the new storyline going :P

Ironically, this picture that I drew and coloured entirely on the computer probably took longer to draw than a normal picture with my pen and ink. Enjoy!

Well, this comic marks the end of another story arc. As you can see, the story and plot itself is cleary not over, but it's being suspended for the time being to travel elsewhere for a mini-story featuring Optimus Prime and his return. I have no idea what to call the new arc, 'The Return of Optimus Prime' is very tempting.

This week is a bit unique, because Halloween actually falls very close to Thursday - my normal update day. Because of the story that's just ending I'm going to make a special Halloween picture and post it in the place of the comic. Maybe I'll post Friday too, we'll see. These past few weeks have been pretty busy.

Thank you to all the readers :D

Thanks again to Crogbot of the forums for helping me with today's update! Click on his name to see his deviantart page! Click iittttt *shakes fist*
Because of his help, I was able to take a little more time this week and actually shade the images. They look better shaded, but I rarely have the time for it, especially when the comic itself is long and many pictures/characters.
So thanks again Crog! If you want to see some great fan art, fan stories and us bickering at each other like school children, come say hi on the forums!

Humans beating robots with sticks and throwing rocks. Is there any nobler a tradition?
The recent comics that are being posted aren't so much 'funny' comics as necessary to move the plot along. I figure there are several ways to end comics like this that are posted weekly/daily, etc. You can end it with a joke, or with a surprise, answer or suspense. Sometimes it's hard for me not to try and sneak in a little joke to make it 'funny'. I think if I did it it would probably ruin the whole effect I was trying to make and just make it lame. Just my opinion of course.
Right now I'm a little stretched for time on site maintenance, you'll notice the main page has a special link to the Decepti-contribute page while others (like this one) don't. I'm working on it- as soon as I have a day or so I'll try and update the entire site.

Whew... it took a while tonight to piece everything together after it was coloured, and then adding in the text of course. But I did it! And it's up!
It's been a very busy week for me, I'm looking forward to the weekend. Mostly for sleeping. Well of course and drawing. Gotta have a healthy amount of drawing in there otherwise I would go crazy!

To everyone that has been wondering about Optimus Prime and where has he been? He shall be entering the comic soon! Actually it's somewhat amazing I haven't had him in at all for almost a year and a half.

Ahhh... nothing like a couple days of sleeping in to help recharge the batteries. I found a couple of old, old computer games online (I forget the site now) that harbours such classics as the original Kings Quest games and Alone in the Dark 1 & 2. Classic. Between working on today's comic I was playing some Alone in the Dark. I don't care how fancy graphics are today, older games are timeless in themselves just for their stories, music and atmosphere. Of course, to be fair, there were a lot of crappy stuff out back then too.

There is a new Decepticon being introduced in today's comic. Swindle, part of the Combaticons, who are a Decepticon group of combiners. Will I have the rest of the crew in? Maybe a little later, as a whole they're not that important, but Swindle will be. The Combaticons have a past connection to Starscream, who took their personalities from Cybertron and built Earth robot forms for them. This was all shown in the famous Generation 1 episode: Starscream's Brigade.

We have something new on the site! Megatron is moderating a new section of the forum called Decepti-contributions! The link showcases the pieces we got last week. It's a lot of fun and there will be a new theme every Sunday. If you wish to enter, just read the rules under the forum thread and go for it!

Whew... I've been putting in some long hours at work, but sometimes I just gotta leave it be and work on my website, my one beacon of sanity in my current working life. Luckily this comic while simple drawing wise, was something I had been waiting to do and am glad I spent the extra time making sure it went up. (Besides missing two posting days in a row, thank Primus for Megatron)

We had a gas leak in our building this morning, after everyone was sort of wandering around sick we finally convinced our boss to try and do something about it and we found out that there were 'dangerous' levels of carbon monoxide filtering through our heating system. So instead of perhaps revelling in an unscheduled day off, I had to take my work home with me. Then my boss calls me at 5pm saying she needs my help on a project otherwise it won't get done. So 10:30pm rolls around and I figure I gotta get this coloured. So viola... Work did not get completely done, but the comic did. Take THAT society. I regret nothiiiiiiing...

So I had originally posted a comic from an ongoing TF fan project known as 'Transformers Mosaic'. I had originally been planning to post this comic as today's update. Except I've been told not to post it, probably until the people in charge want to properly 'release' it. I have some 'previews' of some of the images in the forum, but I thought I'd be polite and take the finished one down. I will re-release it in a couple weeks when it'll be going up. Sorry! It had been up for a better part of the day today already so there is a thread about it, I'm not going to block it or anything.

This might sound like the guys that are doing TF: Mosaic are a little mean. They're not, they're super nice and I love the project. I wasn't sure if their message meant don't post it on any OTHER TF sites (like transfans.net claiming it as a new Mosaic since mine is probably going to be out in a couple of weeks) but I thought just to be polite and make sure I wasn't stepping on anyones toes I'd take it down from here until it's properly released.

Again sorry to Transformers: Mosaic. Looks like Ratchet ruins Christmas again!
Ha ha ha ha. Luckily, Megatron has come to the rescue with a last minute comic. Enjoy!

October already, wow. Well after spending a good part of the night trying to decide on what to do with last year's news, if I wanted to squish it down onto a new page, or have a news archive page or something (which I'm strongly leaning towards) I decided just to let it be for tonight and I'll think on it.

Thankfully Megatron has provided me with tonight's comic, since I've been a little stressed for time the past couple of weeks, and this week seemed like a good time to take a bit of a break while I tried to catch up on some other projects. It's kind of funny because we were talking about fanfics in the forum. There are a lot of good ones out there that I enjoy reading very much, then there are ones that would make Megatron angry. Very angry. He has expressed his anger in today's comic. Enjoy!

comicsindisguise.com is an unofficial generation 1 transformers fan site and dedicated to all of you who, like myself, grew up watching the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out. The comics are mainly based off the original cartoon series which began in 1984.
