Whooooo I had time to do a Thursday comic this week, yay! Well wait, I had time to do a Thursday comic that I drew. Thanks again to Unicron for providing me with the 'letter' and screenshots for last week's comic. I have a Megatron comic too that I'll probably post for next Thursday.
People have been asking me if Skywarp and Thundercracker are coming back. Yes they are, don't worry, they're actually the focus characters of this particular arc, just temporarily side-lined while they get adjusted to their new Earth life without the Decepticons. More in the forums, come and take a look!

Back in business!
That's how I feel after a couple really busy weeks, finally getting to sit down this weekend and really work my way back into the story.
It wasn't much of a mystery really who shot Megatron. The forums gave two obvious options - either Starscream or Devcon. But then again, anyone else would've probably been just dumb.
Another new Autobot is introduced- Well not so much new, but new to the comic. Smokescreen! Smokescreen came into the cartoon series during season 2, and is a repaint of the Prowl/Bluestreak toy but the cartoon character had slightly different features.
Thank you everyone who has sent encouraging emails! It's nice to get some inspiration and know that people are looking at your work and having a good laugh. I enjoy drawing the comic very much and I'm glad people like it too! Also, thanks for pointing out linking errors. How embarassing, I'm glad to get those fixed.

Well work has been rough again this week. Thankfully Unicron has been able to help fill in for tomorrow's comic. I thank him very much. Without his help there wouldn't be an update for today as I don't have a single thing drawn.
In other non-comic related news though today my Alternators Hound finally came in the mail! Horray!! I have to transform him after.

Well after nearly killing myself with everything last week, I took this weekend pretty easy. Maybe that's a bad way of putting it. So easy I slept for almost 10 hours a day. It was great, I think I'm ready to start it all up again starting tomorrow.
Which reminds me of everything I'm behind on otherwise, comics aside. But I'll ease myself back into those too. No sense taking a much needed break to throw yourself back into the fray.
On another note, there is another link on the site! And it's full of great G1 Optimus Prime quotes. I suggest you check it out!
Also, the forums are full of life these days, which is good. Except when they make fun of me. (ha ha) We'd love to hear your opinions and what you think. Ratchet out!

September is almost half over, can you guys believe it? I can't.. I'm still way behind in my work. So behind actually that I wasn't able to finish the comic that I had been intending to do for today, I've had to work a lot of (unpaid) overtime, which is always fun.
I thought up this current comic however a little while ago and I thought I should use it up before the guys DO repair Sunstreaker and he's as good as new.
I like writing Ratchet when I'm feeling a little grouchy myself, that's when I feel I can capture him the best, ha ha.

This is off topic for anything currently happening in the story, but I have to say, part of my past obsession with Windcharger was the fact that he never did much at all during the show, yet was granted a death scene (Arcee dragging him no less) in the 1986 movie. Other, more popular robots at the time weren't even in the movie or were only in it for a split second. Why Windcharger was so special, I'll never know.
What bothered me about the movie actually was that the robots could 'die' from being shot by Megatron in the shoulder. They really REALLY could've used Ratchet I suppose. Too bad he also died from being shot by Megatron in the first 10 minutes of the movie. Do I sound bitter? If I don't, I'm not trying hard enough!

Thursday already... to everyone that had Monday off happy Labour Day! I believe this is the only holiday that Canada and the U.S. share that's non-secular. Even our Thanksgivings are at different times, that's right folks!
For all of you heading back to school, university, etc. As well I wish you a good year. Once you're out working full time every time, every month will seem like September =/ Except for the weather, heh heh.
Someone told me Hound was making Mirage look bad in earlier comics. Well don't worry... cause Mirage always has a plan...

Well I've finally gone full circle with the news... I'm going to have to think of how to arrange it in a logical (yet lazy) way.
Once again, thank you to everyone who's been supporting this comic throughout the past year. There's no slowing down now! Actually it's amusing to read past news months to see where I was and how I had always been 'wanting' to make 'weekly' updates. Mwa ha ha ha ha ha.
